The schedule is fluid, mimicking the "real life" of a working dive professional.
Week 1: Knowledge & Skill Development
- Theory Deep Dive: Extensive workshops on dive physics, physiology, equipment, and environment.
- The Skills Circuit: Daily pool or shallow-water sessions to perfect your ability to demonstrate skills to students.
- Waterskills Exercises: Stamina tests, including a 400m swim, 800m snorkel, and a 100m "tired diver" tow.
Week 2: Assisting & Leadership
- Course Assisting: Begin shadowing instructors during student training. Learn how to anticipate student needs and manage safety.
- Deep & Navigation Workshops: Leading advanced-level navigation and deep-water safety scenarios.
- Dive Site Mapping: Create a detailed underwater map of a local reef, identifying key topographical features and marine life hotspots.
Week 3: Leading & Management
- Guiding Certified Divers: Under the wing of a mentor, you’ll take the lead on briefings and underwater guiding for certified fun divers.
- Dive Shop Operations: Learn the "dry" side of the business, including tank filling, gear maintenance, and boat logistics.
- Emergency Assistance Plan: Developing a comprehensive emergency plan for a local dive site.
Week 4: The Final Polish & Certification
- Independent Leadership: Conduct PADI programs like the "Skin Diver" course or "Discover Local Diving" briefings.
- Final Exams: Complete the PADI Divemaster final exams covering all theoretical and professional standards.
- Graduation: Final logbook signing, reach your 60-dive milestone, and submit your professional application to PADI

A valid CPR/First Aid (EFR) certification within the last 24 months is also required to proceed. This can be added as a separate course, if needed.
