The OWD course teaches you everything you need to know about diving, safety, scuba equipment you need for diving, dive planning and for sure it doesn’t forget on unlimited amount of fun! PADI OWD qualifies you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters. PADI is the world’s largest diving training agency and your PADI Open Water Certification and other PADI scuba diving courses in Bali will be recognized throughout the world.

The PADI Open Water Diver in Padangbai course is quite flexible and performance based. That means that we can offer some variety of schedules. It’s possible to complete your theory, confined and open water dives in four days. If you would manage to complete the knowledge development portion via PADI eLearning, or other home study options before your arrival, the diving course can be done in three days. Which is great option if you don’t have sufficient time. From the first day, scuba diving in Bali will transform your life with new experiences. The PADI Open Water Diver license is a permanent scuba diving certification for a beginner. Upon completion, as a certified diver you can dive only with a buddy independently of a diving professional.

Diving course in Bali is divided into 3 parts:

Knowledge development part, it may be completed through PADI eLearning
Confine sessions in the swimming pool where you will learn and practice the basic scuba diving skills and familiarize yourself with the diving equipment
As the final part of your training you will complete four sea open water dives at our local Bali dive sites.

Itinerary

PADI Open Water is a three or four day diving course and can be completed on a full time or part time basis.

Day 1-2: Course introduction, confined water training in the swimming pool and theory
Day 3: Two open water dives: 9:00am – 1:30pm and theory in the afternoon
Day 4: Two open water dives: 9:00am – 3:30pm and final exam in the afternoon

The entire OK Divers resort is very nice and modern. It offers a wide selection of Indonesian as well as Czech dishes. They also serve draught Bintang beer, which may be a plus for some visitors. The area is very clean and pleasant. Since I don�t dive, I only booked a snorkeling day, which slightly changed my view of snorkeling. We had a lovely assistant who coordinated and supervised us, so I felt very safe. Thanks to her, I was able to see an incredible number of reefs, corals, and fish a manta fish.

We stayed for three nights and did a day's diving with ok divers. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We did two local dives & loved it. Very colourful healthy coral. Our guide was fantastic & made us feel very comfortable.

Excellent hotel staff and dive team. I am AoW and had 4 different dive masters during the stay. My girlfriend was a first time diver and they took great care of her for two dives.
Wide variety of dive sites, highlight was the manta dive, expert guides helped us find them and take awesome footage. High quality, safety, and responsibility.
Hotel has a lovely communal vibe, best from our holiday across Bali.
Definitely rate the whole crew and would recommend, especially for newer divers.

My family stayed here for 3 night to go diving. The hotel is lovely with great service and atmosphere. The diving experience was wonderful. The Dive Masters were knowledge and friendly and the waters around here teeming with life. Safety was very high on the list and the equipment was in excellent condition. If you aren't diving I would still recommend OK Divers as it is in a great location for the ferry, the small harbour area and several restaurants.
