The SSI Level 1 Freediving Course at Eunoia Freediving is a two‑day program designed for complete beginners, snorkelers, surfers, and scuba divers who want to explore freediving fundamentals. Participants learn breath‑holding, relaxation, equalisation, and safety techniques, with pool practice and two ocean depth sessions reaching up to 20 meters. The course emphasizes physiology, mental calmness, and practical skills that benefit both freedivers and water athletes.
Training takes place at UNSW Aquatic Centre (pool) and The Spit, Mosman (open water), providing safe and accessible environments. With professional instructors, small groups, and eco‑friendly practices, safety and enjoyment are prioritized. Certification is internationally recognized under SSI standards.
