Dive with Sea Bees Diving Thailand
This premium day trip takes you to three of Phuket’s most legendary and diverse dive sites: Shark Point, the King Cruiser Wreck, and Koh Doc Mai. This combination is highly recommended for experienced divers, macro photography enthusiasts, and those taking specialty diving courses.
Shark Point
- One of Phukets most popular dive sites. The three pinnacles of the Shark Point are breaking the surface only on a small spot. The rest is submerged and covered in soft and hard corals.
- Great dive site for drift dives.
- You can frequently spot leopard sharks and bamboo sharks here, hence the name.
- Max depth: 25m
King Cruiser
- King Cruiser Wreck is located between Shark Point and Anemone Reef.
- The ferry sank in May 1997. It is 80 metres long and 25 metres wide.
- The deepest point is at 33 metres and the shallowest part of the wreck, is at about 14 metres.
- The wreck is covered in diverse corals and many scorpion fish camouflage themselves as well as large shoals of fish seeking protection.
- Max depth: 33m
Koh Doc Mai
- This remote located limestone island lays between Phuket and Shark Point.
- The name Koh Doc Mai means Flower Island and you will find lots of oyster clams, anemones and sea life like moray eels, sea horses, nudibranchs or ghost-pipe fishes at this wall dives.
- A paradise for macro photographer.
- There are also some small and easy to dive cavern to explore.
- Max depth: 25m
You will travel in comfort aboard the MV Excalibur II, a 23-meter dive vessel equipped with dedicated gear storage, a spacious dive deck, freshwater rinsing tanks, and a comfortable salon. Because of the deeper depths and potential for currents at these specific sites, this itinerary promises an adventurous day showcasing a mix of marine life, a large wreck structure, and vibrant wall diving.
