Anilao - Tubbataha Scuba Diving Liveaboard

We had a lovely stay at Amathi Diving Resort! We actually booked a camp nearby but it was closed!! Luckily Tierry the owner gave us a spare room with an ocean view! The Staff is very welcoming and heartwarming. We immediately felt at home ??
I highly recommend this Resort, it has a great snorkeling and diving spot and we enjoyed the tranquility!
The food is the best!!

I came diving here in mid December 2024 and had 9 solid dives including a night dive.

Literally every dive was a new nudibranch for me. Tons and tons of creatures spotted. Too many frogfish, mantis shrimp, to count. Some large schools of jack fish, rays, turtles, tons of eels, snakes, octopi, even a bamboo shark. Quite a lot of soft coral. There�s some wreck structures (not ships but still very covered in coral).

The owner is a very experienced photographer and diver and is very easy going, along with Johnry, our dive master guide. Johnny was both experienced and energetic, able to spot creatures nonstop on these dives.

The shop seems to attract very experienced divers, and that was a boon for me since every dive we came up over 60� and safely.

The prices are reasonable and the whole facility is very nice to hang out whether or not you are staying in or out. The staff are welcoming and make you feel appreciated.

I would definitely dive with this shop again, and there�s a lot left for me to see here, no doubt. Thanks crew!

The resort has dive gear for rental, and the number of dives available is only limited by your skill and ability. The house reef just off shore is colorful and filled with many, many different kinds of sea life.

The kitchen staff are very friendly and world-class cooks. They enjoy sharing the normal resort foods as well and pride in making many of the local dishes.

Thiery is a great diving instructor which made our first discovery dive so great and we really had fun especially our son and husband who really wish to experience it for a long time already. If you love snorkling, this is the right place because you can see a lot of different kinds of fish immediately when you go into the beach water.

Great food, nice rooms. The owners Joy and Theirry are the most lovely people and make you feel like family! We went there twice in two weeks it was so good! Snorkelling or diving right off the deck is amazing, but they have a boat too, if you would like to venture.

New Resort and dive center. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and large.
The dive center is very professional, the equipment is new and the owner/host/dive guide (Thierry) knows all the good places and is a fantastic animal spotter. They do have an own boat so they can also go to further dive spots.
The restaurant has delicious meals (I loved the chicken curry).
The owners Thierry and Joy did help us with everything and they did really make us feel comfortable.
The prices are very good for this quality!
