If you only have a short time frame on your vacation in Bali or want to try diving before committing to the diving course, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience that allows you to see the amazing underwater life as well as to make your first bubbles.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Bali is not an actual PADI Scuba certification, but great experience where you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water of Padang Bai area and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

The idea of learning to dive is as tempting as it is exciting for every want to be scuba diver. After all, breathing underwater directly contradicts of our most basic survival instincts. The DSD experience in Bali “mini diving course” teaches new divers basic scuba guidelines and skills under the direct supervision of a PADI professional instructor. The DSD will start with dry briefing, then you get wet while you and your instructor will proceed to pool session with all the scuba equipment to learn basic diving skills. After the pool session, you will go on an actual dive at one of our many Bali dive sites to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Usually, we do shallow water entries for gradual decent. Mostly you will be feeling excited but quite comfortable as a result of the swimming pool session before.

Of course, one of the purposes of DSD program is to encourage those who are on the doubt about diving to help them to decide and sign up for their full PADI scuba diving course in Bali.

Itinerary

Discover Scuba Diving in Bali is half day experience and can be conducted any day of the week that you choose. It consists of some knowledge development and swimming pool session in the morning and diving in Bali waters afterwards, generally you will be at the dive centre from 8am until 1pm.

I had a great time at OK Divers resort. In my opinion it is the nicest resort in the area, just across the road from the beach. Rooms were clean and air conditioned. Food was good with a buffet breakfast every morning. Most of all, the staff were excellent! Warm, welcoming and accommodating. The diving staff were amazing, they were fun, engaging and ensured that all of us were safe and well looked after!

Conveniently located 2 mins from the 'fast boat' dock. We only dropped by for a late lunch after a boat transfer from Lombok. Our food order was served quite quick and the service was very friendly and attentive.

Very nice ppl and had a great time diving. Very experienced instructors. Wil go again and Mama Catik around the corner has very good Nasi Goreng!

I did not stay here but used and strongly recommend the dive centre. I took my PADI open water last year and had two days of fun dives this. Everyone has significant experience and whilst fun is always portrayed, this team comes across as super safe (they have seen it before and know exactly what to do). The equipment was good with the training pool a great facility for the initial training. The dive sites are brilliant. Given half a chance, I will be back. Thank you to the OK Divers team.

I would like to say huge thank you to all the team! restaurant, divers and including management. Good experience, felt like at home, food was delicious, staff was very very attentive to each need� sometimes i did not even needed to ask for things and they automatically knew my needs. I spent here 2 days, had 6 dives (one night dive) ve seen much more than expected. Met cool people, especially diving crew. Also finished my Nitrox certification here without any problems and with very smooth process.
