The accommodation and diving school are excellent I can highly recommend them. They are true professionals. During our diving exams, we stayed at the hotel. The accommodation is nice and clean, and the restaurant serves great food. The staffs attitude is perfect everyone is very kind and helpful.

A special thank you goes to our main instructor, Tom an absolute professional diver, a great teacher, and simply an amazing person. His approach made the entire course fun, safe, and unforgettable. Learning from him was a real pleasure, and we always felt in good hands both above and below the surface.

If youre looking for a place in Bali to learn diving, choose OK Divers you wont find a better one. Thank you! See you again soon!

Perfect service from start to finish. Very professional diving with a friendly, welcoming team that makes you feel safe and relaxed at the same time. The food was absolutely amazing - fresh, tasty, and such a nice surprise between dives. I felt very welcome coming with my family, and my grandchildren loved it too. Great atmosphere, great people, and truly professional operation. Highly recommended!

This is a good place to locate yourself for your diving trip. They have a deep pool that you can use to setup diving gear. Trips and courses can be organised direct from the hotel. There is a second pool that the rooms look out on, this has a number of loungers around that are good for relaxing. There is a large breakfast/dining/lounge area with tables and sofas for just hanging out. This is next to the bar and the staff are always available to pour a beer (beer on tap). Blue Lagoon beach is a short walk away for snorkeling. There are a few restaurants and bars just around the hotel if you don't want to use the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is basic, but perfectly fine. Each room has a table/chairs or sofa outside that looks onto pool area.

This dive day began with optimism, caffeine, and a vague plan - and somehow turned into an absolute highlight.

Enter Ria - calm, kind, and somehow able to reorganise the universe after I booked the day before (off-peak season in Jan). If stress were an Olympic sport (arguably the only one Id qualify for), Id want Ria handing out towels and telling everyone its going to be fine. She patiently put up with my indecisiveness and remained mentally stable throughout. A true professional. Bravo, Ria.

Id spoken to two other operators the day before. Lovely people - but no DSD instructor available, which meant my friend wouldve snorkelled at Nusa Penida while I scubad. Tempting, and definitely on the list for next time, but I really wanted my friend to experience a DSD and frankly, my brain couldnt handle split plans involving islands as backup options. Padang Bai made the most sense. Also, we were already halfway to becoming one with the road on our scooter (his name is Cody - he did great.

We left Uluwatu at 6am, which already tells you this story involves commitment, optimism, and questionable decision-making. We arrived at OK Divers at 8:50am (thanks to the only coffee shop open at that hour), slightly late, very dusty, but still emotionally intact.

At OK Divers, we were met by Made (who took my friend through his DSD with total patience and confidence) and Patu, who led my fun dives. Very cool side note: theres a training room right next to the pool, so you can watch the DSD skills happening - which has great lighting, and the perfect spot for a celebratory selfie once your buddy recovers from the initial shock of breathing underwater.

We went out on a traditional wooden boat, which immediately set the tone. Visibility was around 10m, but honestly? The marine life did all the heavy lifting - and Patu has an incredible eye for spotting the good stuff.

What we saw (yes, this part is for the divers):
,7 turtles
,White-tip reef shark (I missed the black-tip - emotionally processing this)
,Blue-spotted stingrays
,3 mantis shrimps
,Leaf scorpionfish
,Frogfish
,4 pygmy seahorses
,Orangutan crab

I filmed exactly one very average entry-level GoPro clip before my camera decided not to switch on again and gave up on life entirely. Which feels on-brand. So unfortunately I don't have any evidence to backup my story here. Sometimes the best stuff happens when youre not documenting it - Ive stored it in my memory bank, which is unfortunately already full of Anchorman quotes and very little practical information.

Surface interval included banana bread, watermelon, and pineapple, which somehow tasted elite after two dives and only coffee for breakfast. We got back to shore around 2pm (idyllic bonus: OK Divers is right across from the boat beach), and our dive guides joined us for lunch - a soup that was actually a very comforting ramen situation. Strong post-dive Bali energy.

Guys, there's a spa. Her name is Renata. Balinese massage. Treat yoself. You know you want to. It was so good I forgot my own room number afterward.

The pool area is perfect for staring into the distance and gently rethinking life choices, if thats your thing.

The room? Incredible. Clean, spacious, powerful A/C, massive bed, excellent shower pressure, secure bathroom door. Once again: one night only - not because I didnt want to stay longer, but because real life and work commitments insist on funding future trips rather than allowing me to disappear indefinitely.

Note to self for next time: book a night dive as well though with attentive bar staff and margaritas conveniently assigned to the room number, that ambition may need stronger willpower.

OK Divers isnt just a dive centre - its a place where logistics, people, and vibes quietly align. 5 stars. Would dive again. Would stay longer. Would be able to show evidence.

This resort is a really great outfit, well organised, friendly and clean. I did two night's stay and two day's diving on a short stopover in Bali. Although I have been with them before to explore Penida and Crystal Bay this time I requested macro diving only and Padangbai is amazing for this! The local sites are only 3-5min from the dive centre and you're back washing your equipment by 12:30pm. Meeting time is 8:30 which is very relaxed, and the porters help to take all your equipment to and from the boat. Water, tea, fruit and cake is available on the boat between dives and a diver's lunch is provided after the dive included in the price (and they cater well for vegetarians). The boats all have shade and areas to keep things dry if you want to take any personal belongings with you. I took my own equipment but what I saw of the rental looked in good condition. I must give a special shout out to my guide Made who gave me a very thorough dive centre briefing and dive briefing each time. I loved debriefing over lunch discussing what we had seen. He was very patient with me given I was being slow and diving with a camera, and an excellent spotter for macro creatures.
The hotel rooms are a well appointed - simple and clean.
