Moalboal Sardine Run Fun Dive

I recently completed my PADI certification at this dive center and honestly couldn�t have asked for a better experience.

The location is perfect, literally right across the road from the beach, which made it so easy getting in and out of the water. But what really made it stand out was the people. Sandra, our instructor, was exceptional. She�s patient, kind, and incredibly good at what she does. As a first-time diver, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident from the start.

The dives themselves were unreal. We saw turtles, huge schools of sardines, and loads of other marine life. The dive master was constantly spotting things we would have completely missed, which made every dive feel like something special.

I also brought an action camera for the last couple of days, and Sandra went above and beyond by taking videos of us underwater. That meant we could focus on diving instead of fumbling with the camera and the footage turned out amazing.

If you�re even considering learning to dive, just go here. You won�t regret it.

What can I say, this dive centre is absolutely fantastic. I had a great experience doing my Open Water course with Amigos.

I had Gong as my instructor and he was excellent � really professional, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process fun and relaxed.

The shop itself was great too. All the equipment was in really good condition and the boat was well set up, which made the dive days smooth and enjoyable.

I also chatted with a few of the other instructors � Martin, Yaya, Pablo, and Felix � and they were all super friendly and welcoming. It honestly felt like no matter which instructor you get, you�re going to have a great time and learn from people who really enjoy what they do.

It was also a really good price for the quality of the course and the experience you get.

Overall just a fantastic experience. I would have loved to stay longer and do my Advanced Open Water with them if I had the time.

I had an excellent experience taking my PADI Open Water diving course at Amigos Dive Center. The whole program was well organized, professional, and very supportive for beginners. From the theory sessions to the open water dives, everything was structured in a way that helped me build confidence and skills step by step.

My dive instructor, Alex, was truly cool. You can clearly feel his passion for diving in the way he teaches and guides students. He is patient, attentive, and very thorough with every skill. Even when we were diving during typhoon weather, he remained calm and highly professional, always making sure we stayed safe and comfortable underwater.

Even on days when the visibility wasn�t perfect, the dives were still beautiful and memorable. We were lucky to witness stunning underwater scenery and marine life, and Alex made sure we could still enjoy the experience while staying within safe limits.

Another big plus is that Amigos Dive Center includes insurance coverage for the course, which many dive shops don�t offer. That added an extra layer of reassurance.

I highly recommend Amigos Dive Center to anyone planning to take a PADI Open Water course. You�ll get quality instruction, strong safety standards, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

I did my open water and advanced open water with Amigos and had the best experience. I did both courses with Alex as instructor. He was very patient and took his time explaining everything and making sure I was comfortable in the water. All the dives were relaxed and fun!
I would highly recommend Alex as an instructor and also Amigos for diving.

We went diving with this dive center in September, and their equipment is very well-prepared, with a full range of sizes availableand,baby tank was also available when needed. Thanks to the counter lady, who kindly helped match the colors of my fins and mask with my clothes � such a thoughtful and lovely detail.

They are also happy to help take photos for you, during the whole trip, which really adds to the experience.

I dived with Dive Master Louie, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the trip. He always helped me carry my equipment. I accidentally left one of my fins behind, and Louie went out of his way to help me find it � I truly appreciate his kindness and responsibility.

I also went diving with Michael, who was friendly, funny and familiar with the dive sites. He brought us to see various marine creatures, making each dive exciting.

We had a photography session with Pablo for sardine run, and the photos turned out amazing. He captured beautiful underwater moments that we will definitely treasure.

Lastly, there is a Chinese dive master, Pear, who was eager to share information and chat with us, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and welcoming.

Overall, thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful diving experience.
