Six days and 16 dives in Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo, built for divers who are comfortable in strong current. The route takes in the northern pinnacles of Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, then Batu Bolong, Manta Point and Siaba, with night dives along the way. Between dives you climb Padar Island for the view, land on Pink Beach and walk with a guide to see Komodo dragons. Small groups dive with naturalist guides, and snorkelling is guided too.
Komodo's best sites ask a lot of you, and that is the point. You learn to read the water before you roll in, to drop fast and get low on the reef, and to time the ride so the current carries you past the busiest part of the pinnacle. When it works, the reef seems to come alive around you, fish packed into the flow and big shapes moving out in the blue. Back on deck, the heat, the dry hills and a cold drink take the edge off before the next briefing.

Day 1: Labuan Bajo.
- Check in and board, then make two dives.
Days 2 to 4: Komodo National Park.
- Three to four dives a day, including night dives, at sites such as Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, with land excursions to Padar Island, Pink Beach and the Komodo dragon trek.
Day 5: Manta Point, Batu Bolong and Siaba.
Day 6: Return.
- Two dives, then return to Labuan Bajo.
Sites and order depend on currents and weather.

Requirements
- Certification: Advanced Open Water Diver, or an equivalent from another agency, is required.
- Experience: you must have at least 50 logged dives, because of strong currents and demanding sites.
- Age: you must be 16 or older.
- Recent experience: if you have not dived in the last 12 months, you must complete a refresher before the trip.
- Medical: you must complete a diver medical statement. Any ""yes"" answer requires a doctor's written clearance.
- Health: this trip is not suitable during pregnancy, or with a history of conditions affecting breathing, circulation or the nervous system, such as severe asthma, epilepsy, heart conditions or recent major surgery.
