This westbound liveaboard starts in Labuan Bajo and finishes in Bali, reversing the classic Lesser Sunda crossing. After a check dive at Sebayur you dive Gili Lawa in Komodo, Gili Banta, Sangeang volcano, Saleh Bay and Moyo Island off Sumbawa, then Kramat and Kanawa before the run into Benoa Harbour.
The first full day throws you straight into Komodo's fiercest currents at Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, surrounded by jacks and reef sharks. Sangeang's volcanic reefs fizz with warm bubbles, and Saleh Bay gives a real chance of hammerheads. The pace eases at the end with critter hunts on Kramat's black sand and two last dives on Kanawa's gentle reef slopes.
Trip Highlights & Key Regional Features
- Komodo's northern drifts at Castle Rock and Crystal Rock from day 2
- Manta Banta and Roller Coaster on remote Gili Banta
- Bubble-streaked volcanic reefs at Sangeang (Hot Rocks)
- Resident hammerhead search in Saleh Bay and soft corals at Moyo Island
- Flamboyant cuttlefish and ghost pipefish on Kramat's slopes
