Born from a love of sharks and worldwide toothy Shark Guardianship, this inaugural Koh Tao Swim for Sharks Fundraiser Event is designed to drive awareness, protection and preservation of the most misunderstood creatures of our waters.
Next to Koh Tao, on the pristine shores of Koh Nang Yuan, this jaw-some event is set to create ripples of change. Join ocean advocates from around the globe gathering to splash for a cause in this shark-tacular swimathon that also funds swim lessons for disadvantaged children.
The challenge? A fin-tastic 3.5km swim around the island; where every stroke and every dollar raised supports global shark conservation efforts, ensuring these incredible creatures thrive for generations to come.
Each year, the atmosphere is electric, spectators flock in support along the shores, and the finish line is buzzing with camaraderie and celebrations.We’re proud to support this international fundraising movement and all endeavours of the mighty Shark Guardian Charity.
