Junior Open Water Diver Course in Koh Tao

Scuba diving doesn’t have to be just a sport for adults.  Kids can get certified too with the Junior Open Water Course!

Koh Tao is well known for being Southeast Asia’s best destination for learning to scuba dive. The waters around Koh Tao make an excellent environment in which to learn  with minimal currents, great visibility, warm ocean waters and heaps of marine life to encounter. Being a certified diver will open up a whole new world of wonders for you to explore and Koh Tao is recognized as one of the best places in the world to experience it. And the best thing about the Junior Open Water license is that this certification lasts a lifetime!

The Junior Open Water Diver course gives students the knowledge and training necessary to dive with an equally or more qualified buddy, in conditions and environments equivalent to their training, in depths shallower than 12 meters/36 feet.

The Junior Open Water Course consists of three phases; knowledge development, a confined water dive to learn basic scuba skills and four open water dives. The schedule takes place over three days, with a bit of self-studying required either before or after the course starts so we can reduce classroom time while on holiday.
