Dive with Local Dive Khao Lak Thailand
Two guided dives from Khao Lak on a traditional wooden dive boat, visiting the wrecks and reefs close to the coast. Depending on conditions and the group, the guide chooses from Boonsung Wreck, Sea Chart Wreck, Wreck Park T.13 and nearby reefs, with no more than four divers per guide.
Khao Lak's wrecks are about texture and life rather than intact decks. Broken steel plates are crusted in oysters and soft coral, lionfish hang in the shade of the hull, and schools of snapper and barracuda circle above while moray eels watch from the gaps. Between dives, the wooden boat's broad deck makes for an unhurried surface interval.

Itinerary
08:00: Paperwork, gear fitting and briefing, then the wooden boat leaves the pier.
Morning: First guided dive on a wreck or local reef.
Midday: Surface interval with lunch and soft drinks on board.
Afternoon: Second guided dive.
Late afternoon: Back at the pier, then the van returns you to your hotel.
The guide chooses the sites on the day according to the schedule, diver experience and sea conditions.

Requirements
- Open Water certification or higher (PADI, SSI or equivalent) is required. Not suitable for non-certified divers.
- Minimum age 10 with a Junior Open Water certification.
- Divers who have not dived in 12 months or more must complete a refresher, available on request.
- A standard scuba diving medical statement form must be signed prior to diving. Responding 'yes' to any medical issues within will require clearance from a physician.
- Not suitable during pregnancy.
