Take your passion for diving to the next level with the SSI Dive Guide Course, the first professional step in your dive career. This program trains you to plan, organize, and lead dives for certified divers while refining your in-water skills, situational awareness, and leadership abilities.

You’ll learn how to conduct thorough dive briefings, manage groups safely, navigate underwater with confidence, and respond calmly to real-world challenges. Training takes place through classroom sessions, confined water practice, and open water dives around Boracay’s stunning reefs, giving you practical experience in leading dives in a range of conditions.

By the end of the course, you’ll be certified to work as an SSI Dive Guide, ready to guide fun dives anywhere in the world, a major milestone toward becoming a Divemaster or Dive Professional.

Prerequisites:

SSI Stress & Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
Minimum of 40 logged dives
Current first aid and CPR certification
Good physical fitness and strong diving competence

After a pause on diving for a while we took a refresher dive with DiveGurus Boracay. They were excellent!! Very thorough & extremely safety conscious ensuring we were confident to re-enter the dive world. GEN was fabulous, kind and caring but fun & enthusiastic!! We felt very safe and in good hands. The dive boat team were helpful & we would highly recommend this team!! The equipment was the best we've ever used, in excellent condition and a great fit. Which for me is unusual as I'm quite petite. Don't scroll past these guys they are FANTASTIC!!

My wife, with her Open Water certification, and I, with mine, with my Advanced certification, went fun diving at the local diving shop, Guru's.
