The final 3-Day Certification Itinerary will be discussed upon arrival but here's what you can expect.
Day 1: Fundamentals & The "First Breath"
- Arrival, check-in, and equipment fitting.
- Academics Review. A deep dive into dive physics, physiology, and the "Digital Learning" modules you started at home.
- Confined Water Session (Pool). This is where you learn the "Life Support" skills: mask clearing, regulator recovery, and buoyancy control in a controlled environment.
- Gear maintenance workshop and debrief.
- Open Water Dive 1. Heading to a shallow reef (like Aquaventure or Twin Rocks). Focus on entry, descent, and basic skill repetition at max 12m depth.
- Open Water Dive 2. Applying your buoyancy skills while exploring the reef. Keep an eye out for "Nemo" (anemonefish) and sea turtles!
- Logbook session and theory final exam.
- Evening: Free time to relax by the water and prep for graduation day.
- Open Water Dive 3. Navigational exercises and advanced buoyancy practice. We’ll explore deeper sections of the reef (up to 18m).
- Open Water Dive 4 (The Graduation Dive). A fun dive where you demonstrate you can plan and execute a dive safely with your buddy.
- Final equipment rinse and Certification Ceremony. You are now a certified SSI Open Water Diver!

Suitable for non-certified divers ages 10 and above. Not suitable for pregnant women or anyone that has a history of certain medical conditions (especially those affecting the respiratory, circulatory, or nervous systems—e.g., severe asthma, epilepsy, recent major surgery, or heart conditions)
