Anilao Open Water Scuba Diving Course
Anilao Open Water Scuba Diving Course
3 Days • Daily
Dive with Amathi Diving Resort
Located just a three-hour drive from Manila, Anilao is widely considered the "Birthplace of Scuba Diving" in the Philippines. While it lacks the long white-sand beaches of Boracay or Palawan, what lies beneath the surface is a world-class marine sanctuary that draws underwater photographers and marine biologists from across the globe.
Anilao’s unique topography dropping quickly from shore to deep reefs is perfect for CMAS training, which often requires a slightly more hands-on approach to buoyancy and current management than other agencies.
This course is designed for those who want a robust foundation in diving. The CMAS 1-Star (Open Water) certification is globally recognized and emphasizes self-sufficiency and environmental awareness.
