This point-to-point liveaboard starts in Kalabahi on Alor and finishes in Ambon, crossing the Banda Sea on the way. Two days in Alor lead to the remote atoll of Pulau Hatta, the submerged volcano of Suanggi, the vent-warmed slopes of Manuk, the historic Banda Islands and a closing day of muck diving in Ambon Bay.
Alor's walls are thick with sea fans and the water runs cool and clear. Out in the Banda Sea the mood changes: at Suanggi you hang in blue water watching for schooling hammerheads, and at Manuk banded sea snakes weave between soft corals. The last dives in Ambon Bay are slow and close, hunting for Ambon scorpionfish, wonderpus and rhinopias.
