Dive with Scubadivepro Tenerife
Dive into one of Tenerife’s most iconic underwater experiences — El Peñón Wreck, located just steps from our dive center in Tabaiba.
This former tugboat was intentionally sunk to create an artificial reef and is now home to a wide variety of marine life including moray eels, nudibranchs, rays, octopus, and shoals of fish. The wreck lies between 18 and 30 meters, making it perfect for both Open Water and Advanced divers.
The dive starts with an easy shore entry, followed by a gradual descent to the wreck’s bow at 18 meters. For more experienced divers, the dive can continue down to the stern at 30 meters, offering a complete view of the ship's structure.
With ideal conditions year-round, volcanic seascapes and rich biodiversity, El Peñón is a must-dive site in Tenerife.
