Embark on an 8-day 7-night epic dive adventure through the world-famous Similan and Surin Islands. Hunt for big pelagics around Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, then lose yourself in the kaleidoscopic wonderland of Richelieu Rock – Thailand’s crown jewel of diving.

The Similan Islands (Mu Ko Similan National Park) lie off the coast of Phang Nga Province in the Andaman Sea, Thailand.

Here’s what makes them special for scuba divers:

Exceptional underwater scenery: huge granite boulders, dramatic rock formations, walls, pinnacles and clear water visibility.

Rich marine life: everything from hard and soft corals to big pelagics. For example, manta rays and whale sharks sometimes come over to visit.

In short: if you are looking for a dive destination that offers both beauty and marine diversity, the Similans are hard to beat.

Itinerary

Day 1: Embarkation at 19.00hr followed by briefings and dinner.

Day 2-5: Your Cruise Director will schedule up to 4 dives per day; 3 dives and a sunset or night dive.

A typical diving day is scheduled as follows:

Light breakfast, followed by briefing & Dive1
Full breakfast, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 2
Lunch, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 3
Snack
Briefing for Dive 4
Dinner

Day 6: Usually, 2 morning dives and one dive after lunch* before the vessel commences the cruise back to port.

Day 7: Following breakfast, disembarkation is scheduled for 9h00 -10h00

Important

Diving the Similan Islands is suitable for divers of all levels. There are easier sites as well as some with more challenging currents.

To join our Similan & Surin liveaboard cruises you must be a minimum of Open Water certified with 10 logged dives.

Visibility can be excellent (even up to ~50m at times)

We kindly request that guests check their flight departure times to ensure that they leave a minimum of 24 hours between their final dive and the departure of their flight. While we wish to show you the very best diving possible, the safety of all on board remains paramount. In the unlikely event we are unable to reach a specified dive site; we always do our best in offering diving at alternative locations.

Cancellations

Life happens so we keep cancellations flexible. Up to 60 days before your dive, you can reschedule, receive store credit, or nominate someone else to take your place. Cancel more than 61 days ahead for a full refund.
