While obtaining your Instructor rating requires dedication and hard work, it grants you the opportunity to teach one of the most incredible underwater adventures, sharing your knowledge and skills with aspiring freedivers.
There are two pathways to attain the PADI Freediver Instructor rating. The first option is designed for advanced freedivers who acquire instructional expertise through participation in a PADI Freediver Instructor Training Course, this is a 10 day course. If you're already a PADI Scuba Instructor, with the required Freediving pre-requisites, this can be completed in 6 days. The second option is tailored for Freediving Instructors seeking affiliation with the PADI organization, achieved by attending a PADI Freediver Instructor Orientation of 6 to 10 days.

Prepare for 10 epic days of Freediving from 9:00am to 4:30pm each day, with an hours lunch break each day.
Your water, tea, coffee, soda, snacks, fruits and lunch are included in your course.

If you're already a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (or higher) and an experienced freediver with a PADI Advanced Freediver cert, you might be able to fast-track your way by submitting a PADI Freediver Instructor Application to your regional HQ.
