The PADI Open Water Course at Dragon Dive Komodo is a three‑day program that certifies divers to 18 meters. Training includes eLearning, confined water practice, and four open water dives in Komodo National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its biodiversity, offering encounters with manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs.
Komodo provides an inspiring classroom for new divers. Its clear waters, strong currents, and diverse sites make training both challenging and rewarding. With professional instructors and small groups, participants gain confidence and competence in the water.
This course is ideal for travelers seeking both adventure and certification. Complete eLearning at home (phone/tablet/laptop). We review on site and fit your gear.
Day 1 — Pool
Confined-water training at our pool: buoyancy, mask, regulator, safety & control.
Day 2 — Ocean (12 m)
2 PADI certification dives + 1 bonus fun dive.
Day 3 — Ocean (18 m)
2 PADI certification dives + 1 bonus fun dive. Debrief & certification.
Schedule may shift with tides/conditions. Junior age & depth limits apply.
