When the sun sets over the Andaman Sea, a completely different world awakens. Our Koh Phi Phi Night Dive offers a rare glimpse into the "night shift" of the reef. Using high-powered dive torches, you’ll watch the coral come to life and observe elusive nocturnal hunters that remain hidden during the day.

This is a single-tank immersion designed for divers who want to experience the thrill of the dark and the bioluminescent magic of the Phi Phi National Marine Park.

The Nighttime Spectacle

As your torch pierces the darkness, you’ll discover a side of the reef most travelers never see:

The Hunters: Watch as Giant Moray Eels leave their crevices to hunt and Lionfish become active, prowling the reef edge.
Macro Magic: See colorful Nudibranchs, Crabs, and Shrimps that only emerge under the cover of night.

Itinerario

This is a focused, 1-dive excursion timed for the perfect transition into the night.

8:15 – Briefing & Gear Up: Meet at the dive center as the sky begins to turn orange. Your guide will provide a specialized night-diving briefing, covering communication signals, torch use, and navigation in the dark.
18:45 – Twilight Departure: Board the boat and cruise toward a sheltered site within the National Marine Park (typically Moo Dee Bay or Maya Corner) as the stars begin to appear.
19:15 – The Dive: Descend into the shadows for a 45–60 minute guided tour. Experience the thrill of discovering marine life by flashlight.
20:00 – Return to Shore: Enjoy the cool night breeze and some light refreshments (tea, coffee, and fruit) on the boat as we head back to the pier, arriving just in time for a late island dinner.

Participants must hold a valid scuba diving certification from a recognized agency, such as PADI, NAUI, SSI, or equivalent, to join a fun dive.

The depth of fun dives varies depending on the dive site and the experience level of the participants. Most of our marine park dives can range from shallow reef dives at around 5 meters to deeper dives exceeding 30 meters for more experienced divers.
