The 'Coral Reef Safari — Verde Island' is a small-group scuba day tour led by passionate naturalist guides — Departing from Puerto Galera, this scuba safari takes divers to the iconic Verde Island — the namesake of the Verde Island Passage — Verde Island is famed for its rich biodiversity, with some of the highest concentrations of marine species anywhere in the world. Its signature dive site, the Verde Island Drop-off, features a dramatic underwater wall swept by strong currents, attracting schools of fish, vibrant corals, and occasional pelagics—making it a world-class drift dive.

LOW DIVER / GUIDE RATIO

Designed for small groups with a low diver-to-guide ratio (max 3 divers per guide), these adventures promote a gentler impact on the aquatic ecosystem with each dive. They offer an enriching personal journey for scuba divers and the opportunity for intimate wildlife experiences that are impossible with larger groups.

1% For The Planet + ₱700 per guest + 100% of profit from the Mindoro Coral Reef Safari are reinvested into conservation through Blue Alliance Philippines, the organisation delegated with the responsibility of co-managing the Marine Protected Areas of North Oriental and Occidental Mindoro — By taking part in a Mindoro Coral Reef Safari, guests contribute directly to the sustainable management of the North Mindoro Marine Protected Areas.

CARBON NEUTRAL

Reaching those off-the-beaten-track dive sites requires a little extra effort, and we recognise that traveling to places with few or no other divers uses more fuel than visiting dive sites closer to home. We offset the carbon emissions generated by our fuel usage, by partnering with Tree Nation to plant trees for each journey.
