Cancun Scuba Diving Refresher Program

• Instruction: Personalized review and skill updates guided by a certified PADI or SDI Instructor.
• Knowledge Review: Briefing on dive safety, dive planning, air management, and hand signals.
• Pool / Confined Water Session: Skill practice in a shallow pool setting to rebuild comfort and confidence.
• Ocean Dives (Optional / Add-on): Guided boat dives to shallow Cancun reefs or MUSA to put refreshed skills into practice.
• Scuba Gear Rental: Complete rental equipment setup (BCD, regulator, mask, fins, weights, and tanks).
• Marine Park Fees: Included marine permits for scheduled ocean dive portions.

• 08:30 AM – Gear Setup & Knowledge Review
  Meet your instructor at the dive center for a brief theory review covering dive planning, hand signals, equalization, and safety rules. Assemble and inspect your rental scuba equipment under instructor guidance.
• 09:30 AM – Pool Skill Refresher
  Enter the shallow pool to review and practice core scuba skills: regulator clearing and recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy control (hovering), and emergency out-of-air procedures.
• 11:00 AM – Boat Briefing & Ocean Dive (Optional)
  Board the dive boat and head to a shallow Cancun reef or the MUSA Underwater Museum (max depth 10–12 meters / 30–40 feet) to enjoy a relaxed, guided dive with your instructor.
• 01:30 PM – Logbook & Return to Marina
  Return to the marina, rinse gear, update your dive logbook with an official refresher stamp, and head out with renewed confidence for future dive trips.

Suitable for divers with Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another agency) age 16 (with Parental Consent) years old or older. If you haven’t dived in over 12 months, a quick "Scuba Review" or Refresher session is required for your safety.

Not suitable for pregnant women or anyone that has a history of certain medical conditions (especially those affecting the respiratory, circulatory, or nervous systems—e.g., severe asthma, epilepsy, recent major surgery, or heart conditions)

A completed Medical Statement is required. If any "Yes" answers are marked, a physician's written clearance is mandatory.
