Take the next step in your diving journey with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, designed to build confidence, refine skills, and expand your underwater horizons. Over 2–3 days, you’ll complete five specialty dives that introduce you to new environments and techniques, preparing you to dive safely up to 30 meters.
- Buoyancy Mastery: Fine‑tune your buoyancy control to glide effortlessly over coral reefs and walls.
- Deep Diving: Experience the thrill of diving beyond 18 meters, exploring Bira’s stunning wall sites and deeper ecosystems.
- Drift Diving: Learn to harness currents for smooth, controlled dives along vibrant reef slopes.
- Night Diving: Discover nocturnal marine life and develop confidence in low‑light conditions.
- Navigation & Specialty Skills: Practice underwater orientation and specialty techniques that make you a more independent diver.
Beyond skill development, you’ll also contribute to marine conservation by adopting two corals at GaiaOne’s nurseries, directly supporting reef restoration efforts. With full equipment provided, daily lunch, and a GaiaOne tee shirt, this program blends professional training with eco‑impact.

Itinerario
Day 1: Orientation, Navigation & Buoyancy Control
- Morning (Briefing & Dive 1): Meet at GaiaOne dive shop for registration, gear fitting, and a brief theory session. Head out for your Perfect Buoyancy / Peak Performance Dive to refine weighting, hover control, and trim along Bira's wall sites.
- Afternoon (Dive 2): Complete your Underwater Navigation Dive, mastering compass navigation techniques, search patterns, and natural landmark tracking.
- Lunch: Enjoy an included lunch at the dive center or on board during the surface interval.
Day 2: Deep Diving & Marine Exploration
- Morning (Dive 3 - Deep Dive to 30m): Execute your mandatory Deep Dive along Bira's dramatic drop-offs, testing depth effects on gas consumption, color absorption, and pressure management down to 30 meters.
- Afternoon (Dive 4 - Drift or Fish ID): Practice drift-diving techniques along Bira's famous oceanic currents or focus on identifying local marine species.
- Lunch: Included lunch between sessions.
Day 3 (Optional / Flexible): Night Dive & Certification
- Evening / Twilight (Dive 5 - Night Dive or Alternative Specialty): Conduct a Night Dive to observe nocturnal marine life, learn underwater light handling, and practice dark water communication signals.
- Debrief: Return to base, plant/register your 2 adopted corals, receive your GaiaOne t-shirt, and process your official SSI Advanced Adventurer certification.
